The Project Cost Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project plans, preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project coordination, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of construction and reinforcing steel materials.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:

Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission. Reviews and interprets construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine rebar requirements. Prepares detailed and accurate estimates for rebar materials. Works closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and requirements. Collaborates with clients to ensure accurate material take-offs. Utilizes industry software and estimation tools to generate quotes and cost breakdowns. (i.e. Bluebeam, aSa, PlanSwift, or AutoCad.). Identifies potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities. Communicates with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure competitive bids. Assists in bid preparation, proposal development, and contract negotiations. Maintains organized and accurate records of estimates, revisions, and project history for future reference. Oversees project timelines, deliveries, and execution to ensure smooth workflow. Provides ongoing project support, including tracking costs, updating estimates, and assisting with problem resolution. Stays up to date with industry trends, codes, and best practices in rebar estimation and construction. Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, architectural drawings, geotechnical reports, and other technical documents. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management and coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rebar estimation or detailing. Strong knowledge of reinforcing steel materials, construction methods, and industry standards. Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, aSa, PlanSwift, AutoCad, or equivalent. Supervisory Responsibilities:

None. Travel:

Up to 5% travel may be expected, overnight stay minimal. Physical Requirements:
