Warehouse Order Assembler
Schedule: M-F 8:30am-4:30pm (plus regular overtime as needed)
Payrate: $17.50/hr.
Job Description:
Warehouse Assembler in this job perform a range of general and specific warehouse task that can be easily learned on the job such as staging, loading, unloading, stock, receiving, and assembly. As well as other warehouse related job tasks as assigned.
Job Functions:
• Package finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage finished product for loading.
• Load finished product onto truck.
• Unload product from truck, container, and stock them in the designated area.
• Responsible for quality control. Ensure that damaged product is not sent out and damaged product is not stored.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Operate with forklift and/or palette jacks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, and palette jacks.
• Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.
• Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
• Compiles & completes inventory, ordering, & receiving records & reviews reports for correctness.
• Receives and logs incoming and outgoing freight shipments, including retrieving and sending freight from other location.
• Verifies freight against invoice and purchase order, reporting any discrepancies.
• Provide fill in support for other departments in the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions: Must be reliable and responsible to get to work on time.
Forklift a plus but not required
1-2 yrs. Warehouse experience needed
Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
Regularly lift and /or move objects of 50 lbs. Occasionally lift.
Must be able to spend long hours standing, bending, walking, and stretching.
