We are representing an established Mechanical Contractor seeking an Assistant Project Manager at all levels. This role offers a career path to Project Manager as the company expands. With over 50 years in operation, they have a significant presence in the Mechanical Construction space. Responsibilities: Supervise and direct project development throughout its lifecycle. Specialize in Commercial and Industrial Projects. Handle TI, Ground Up, Design Build assignments proficiently. Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals. Coordinate team members, resources, and stakeholders to meet project targets. Prepare and present budget proposals, suggesting adjustments as needed. Manage project expectations and communicate effectively with team and management. Assign tasks to suitable personnel and oversee their execution. Identify and address project issues, deficiencies, and key milestones. Create project timelines, schedules, and monitor progress. Utilize various Microsoft tools, Project Management, and Estimating software. Generate progress reports, proposals, and documentation. Anticipate scope changes, mitigate crises, and develop backup plans. Perform additional duties as delegated. Requirements: Proficiency in HVAC industry standards and regulations. Hands-on experience in HVAC equipment installation and maintenance. Strong team management and individual performance skills. Ability to adapt, solve problems, and meet deadlines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 2+ years in HVAC/Mechanical sector. BA Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required.
