We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Material Handler to join our dynamic team in the plastics industry. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of inventory management, and the ability to work effectively during 2nd shift hours. Key Responsibilities: Material Handling:

Efficiently move, stack, and organize raw materials and finished products using hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for production needs. Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies. Quality Control:

Inspect materials and products for quality and compliance with company standards. Report any defects or issues to the appropriate department. Documentation:

Accurately complete and maintain necessary documentation for inventory, material usage, and production reports. Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Report safety hazards or incidents immediately. Collaboration:

Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials to production lines. Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs. Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role, preferably in the plastics or manufacturing industry. Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and coordination. Heavier items will be moved with hand truck or dolly for safety purposes. Communication:

Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and interact with various departments. Attention to Detail:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation. Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certifications in material handling or warehouse operations is a plus. Benefits
