Warehouse-Vending Operations Associate DiVal Safety Equipment-Greensboro, NC Full time

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for a full time General Warehouse associate with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibilities of this position are to pick/pack orders and deliver to our customers in an accurate and efficient manner with safety being a priority.

The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient Warehousing practices, Vending services & Quality Customer support with safety being a priority. Duties and Responsibilities: Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to. Various Warehouse activity, including but not limited to- picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away. Provide customer onsite Vendor Managed Inventory replenishment of PPE products for customers as scheduled Accurately maintain and record inventory levels at each customer location. Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required. Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. Must complete daily vehicle inspection and make direct supervisor aware of any issues that might require attention. Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management. Reporting directly to Services and Warehouse Leadership in alignment with other members of the management team. Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.

Skills and Requirements: Strong organizational, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong time management skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Valid Driver’s License. (Vehicle Transit Van or 16” box truck) Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen. Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred) Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus High school diploma / GED equivalent. Benefits: Medical benefits. Dental & vision benefits.
