Technical Manager
in our R&D department! This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in personal care formulation and a passion for technical innovation. We're looking for an experienced professional with deep expertise in personal care formulation, including bench development, scale-up, and full production transfer. This is a newly created role ideal for someone passionate about technical innovation and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. About the Role: This full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday) is based in
Garland, TX , with plans to move to a new facility in
Richardson, TX
later this year. Local candidates are preferred, and relocation assistance is not available. As a Technical Manager, you will apply your deep technical expertise in ingredient functionality, formulation development, and scale-up processes to bring new products from concept to manufacturing. While this role does not have direct reports, you’ll play a critical leadership role within the R&D team and collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead scale-up from bench to production quantities Provide technical guidance on ingredient functionality and process optimization Navigate complex formulation challenges including mixing technologies and reaction conditions Partner across departments to build strategic innovation plans Manage multiple initiatives to meet business goals Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering 10+ years of experience in cosmetics/personal care R&D and formulation Proven expertise in transferring formulas from lab to full-scale manufacturing Strong understanding of FDA regulations and cGMPs Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, ERP systems, and technical report writing Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and interface directly with customers and cross-functional teams If you're ready to make an impact in a hands-on, fast-moving environment and play a vital role in innovation and product development, we’d love to hear from you!
