Job Details Shifts: graveyard Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Medical benefits-eligible first of the month following 28 days of employment. All other benefits-eligible first of the month following 90 days of employment. Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Position Overview: The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible is responsible for the accuracy of the inventories, by conducting cycle counts. Responsible for ensuring that the physical inventory matches the system inventory to the lot number. Additionally, responsible for identifying and reviewing inventory discrepancies. Works closely with Quality Control, Receiving, and the Repack Department for the resolution of inventory discrepancies. Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Amount of Travel Involved: None. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times Print count sheets and perform cycle counts daily. Conduct cycle counts of all merchandised stored at the warehouse as scheduled by the Warehouse Manager. Stage product by reviewing schedule and ensuring product is staged for production usage. Ensure FIFO/FEFO process is adhered to Move material in and out of staging area as need and weigh out partial raw materials that are being returned. Responsible for the accuracy of the physical inventory to the correct lot number to correspond with those lots that are in ILS, SAP and/or WMS. Responsible for the movement of products when re-slotting. Research
discrepancies/missing
products/extra products to determine nature of discrepancy. Identification and correction of receiving, warehouse transfers and discrepancies. Input daily counts into inventory management systems. Follow inventory control standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist warehouse in resolving issues. Work with lift truck operators in reconciling cycle counts, shipments, and receipts. Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, coworkers, and management. All other duties as assigned. Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required. o Regular and punctual attendance. To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each fundamental task listed above satisfactorily. Experience for Success: Required proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and 10-key by touch. Excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner. Excellent attention to detail and produces accurate work. Must be a team player. Ability to multitask and work with changing priorities. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Knowledge of inventory management systems preferably SAP, AS400, Avail and ILS. Ability to prioritize, accurately execute multiple tasks, and adhere to deadlines. Must be a quick learner, self-starter, and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision. Must be pro-active. Must have the desire and ability to follow-up and be thorough. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm and professional attitude. Basic knowledge of office equipment such as fax machine, copier/scanner, telephones, and computer. Education and/or Experience: H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; 5 years’ inventory experience preferred; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
