Warehouse Associate
to join our team in
Indianapolis, Indiana . We pride ourselves on fast shipping, expert service, and a customer-first mindset. This role is key to making it all happen by keeping products moving accurately and supporting customers every step of the way, from the warehouse floor to the front counter. General Supply has been a trusted name in the manufactured and modular housing industry since 1993. With over 100 years of combined team experience, we pride ourselves on fast shipping, expert customer service, and a deep understanding of mobile and manufactured home needs. From parts and accessories to professional installation and support, we’re committed to being a reliable, affordable resource for homeowners and contractors alike. Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Receive, stock, pick, pack, and ship inventory in a timely and accurate manner Load and unload products safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment Verify accuracy of shipments and inspect incoming goods for damage Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Report inventory shortages and assist with cycle counts Customer Support & Sales Assist walk-in customers at the counter and process orders by phone or in-person Support customers with product pick-up and loading Process payments (cash/credit) and manage related documentation Develop product knowledge to better serve and support customer needs Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service Additional Responsibilities May be required to drive a company vehicle to pick up products from vendors Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and business operations Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling Basic computer skills for order and inventory processing Strong communication and basic math skills Positive attitude, reliable, and eager to learn Strong customer service and communication skills Attention to detail and time management
