Distribution Associate Pay Rate and Hours:

6am to 2:30pm with possible overtime $12/hr+ Distribution Associate Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for accurately maintaining inventory and inventory records, processing all inbound and outbound parts and products, and maintaining an efficient flow of material through the building. Receives, unloads, counts, verifies incoming raw materials, processed or fabricated parts, purchased parts, returned materials, and other items. Moves material to designated storage areas. Picks work orders for fabrication, machining, and assembly. Moves production material to designated work area. Assists purchasing with cycle counting, inventory reorganization, identification, as required. Assists shipping with boxing, packing, crating, and loading shipments as required. Operates forklift, overhead crane, and other material handling equipment.

Distribution Associate Responsibilities include:

Completes appropriate inventory transactions and ensure accurate counts on every material movement. Maintains accurate inventory records of storage and movement of all materials Packages / palletizes and labels all materials to ensure protection and easy identification in storage and movement. Loads / unloads freight carriers Receives and processes incoming parts and materials. Processes manufacturing orders, travelers, and debits. Pulls parts and/or products to fill internal and/or external orders Processes and consolidates internal and external orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery Stores parts, products and materials from manufacturing orders, incoming receipts, and product displays Catalogues, stores, repairs, and ships product displays as needed for customer events. Audits locations within plant and warehouse areas Handles hazardous and non-hazardous materials within Company safety and environmental guidelines Operates material handling equipment (portable, stationary, manual, and powered) Distribution Associate Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

HS diploma or equivalent required. Able to read and write; possess fundamental math and counting skills Must be PC proficient. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing transactions and dealing with part numbers, quantities, locations, weights, etc. Must be familiar with material flows and the transactions (manual and computerized) which control them. Should possess a good working knowledge of products manufactured and the parts and materials used in the manufacturing process. Must be licensable to operate materials handling equipment. Will be required to perform unassisted lifting up to 30 pounds and assisted lifting over that amount. This classification requires a high degree of flexibility. Persons working in this department will be required to help in other areas at times and perform other duties as directed by leads or supervisors.
