Insurance Coverage Attorney

Location: Austin, TX Duties: Handle insurance coverage disputes and related litigation matters. Analyze coverage issues, draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions. Conduct discovery, including depositions, court conferences, and motion practice. Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation. Collaborate with colleagues and clients on complex cases. Participate in business development activities to expand the firm’s presence in the insurance industry. Requirements: Minimum of two years of relevant experience in insurance coverage and litigation. Strong background in handling insurance coverage disputes, including litigation. Experience drafting legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and coverage opinions. Familiarity with discovery processes, depositions, and court procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Must be admitted to practice law in Texas. Additional admissions in other states are a plus. Skills: Proficient in legal research, writing, and analysis. Strong litigation skills, including motion practice and discovery. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong client management and communication skills. Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
