About the Role: As a Mover II at Cadogan Tate in Chicago, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient transportation of valuable goods and materials. Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to moving and transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with high-value or fragile items. Certification in forklift operation or other relevant equipment. Familiarity with inventory management software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Responsibilities: Ability to drive 26ft box trucks Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport goods and materials to and from designated locations. Pack and secure items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during handling and transit. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute moving schedules and routes. Inspect equipment and vehicles prior to use to ensure safety and operational readiness. Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and any incidents or damages. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies during all phases of the moving process. Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to provide updates and resolve any issues. Skills: The required skills such as physical strength and knowledge of safety procedures are essential for handling and transporting goods securely and efficiently on a daily basis. Attention to detail ensures that items are packed and loaded correctly to avoid damage, while effective communication skills facilitate coordination with team members and clients.
