Required Technologies : Experience in big data technologies and cloud-based AWS services including State Machines, CDK, Glue, TypeScript, CloudWatch, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, Glacier, DataSync, Lake Formation, AppFlow, RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora, Athena, Amazon MSK, Apache Iceberg, Spark, Python. Nice to Have : AWS Redshift, Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog), Data Engineering, AI and Machine Learning (Amazon Bedrock, Sagemaker), R Studio, Posit Workbench, R Shiny, Git, IntelliJ, Scala. Day-to-Day Responsibilities : Review and analyze systems, streamline processes, develop prototypes, diagnose and fix defects, address maintenance issues, act as an internal consultant and mentor, work closely with stakeholders to determine requirements, ensure solutions align with strategies and standards, provide design recommendations, participate in system design and evaluation, develop enterprise applications, develop programming standards, devise new data sources, participate in full system lifecycle, guide lower-level staff, lead projects, and research industry trends.
