Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr SAS Developer for a 6-month contract role with our client in Minnetonka, MN. This role is 100% remote. Summary Maintain existing applications and develop new applications supported by FDM on FIN360 platforms for various Healthcare Company Finance & Accounting teams including E&I, C&S, M&R, A&C, and Regulatory. Team Description The DS3 Solution Delivery team within FDM comprises 4 agile teams with around 25 developers (Onshore and Offshore). They primarily develop and maintain finance and accounting data processing, reporting applications, and automation for Healthcare Company controllership. Key skills include SAS, Python, SQL for relational databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, and SQL Server. Top Responsibilities Support design, development, testing, and deployment of data analytics programs and processes for operational data stores using SAS and relational databases. Collect, interpret, and aggregate data from traditional and non-traditional sources to support various programs and applications. Understand data requirements and business needs to develop data tools like dashboards and visualizations using SAS and PowerBI. Use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytics, and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis, and interpret data. Solve moderately complex problems and translate concepts into practice. Identify problems and recommend solutions. Work independently within tight deadlines. Engage with business users for new projects, enhancements, and issue resolution. Adopt a structured approach to understanding needs, documenting requirements, and clarifying expectations. Create and document high-level and detailed designs, implementation, and SOPs. Perform production support tasks, including job monitoring, failure resolution, data analysis, and root cause analysis. Candidate Background Experience in Healthcare is preferred but not required. Must-Have Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applications, Analytics, Data Science, or IT. 5+ years in programming with BASE SAS, SAS/Macros, Proc SQL. 5+ years in data analysis, working with large datasets and relational databases. 5+ years developing SQL queries. 2+ years programming in Python. Experience supporting modern large-scale data pipelines for reporting, analytics, and machine learning. Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen. Advanced MS Excel skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Advanced SAS programming certification. 2+ years developing dashboards with Power BI. Healthcare experience. Data Bricks experience.
