What's in it For You: The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a growing company that is passionate about protecting the world's vital resourcesAbundant advancement opportunities within the Specialty Pest Services and across broader EcolabThis position offers paid training and assistance to obtain all necessary licensesWork collaboratively in a physically activeenvironment with a team of fumigation expertsAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technologyWhat You Will Do: In this role you will be trained appropriately to perform the following duties: Assist with the complete fumigation process, including but not limited to sealing, tarping, introduction of fumigant, conducting fume readings, and aerating/de-gassing facilitiesUse handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation and pest issues, and gas monitoring equipment to conduct readings during fumigationsRead, understand, follow labels, and MSDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during services providedEffectively communicate with customers as neededInspect, maintain, and utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) properlyFollow proper safety protocols including OSHA mandated and customer specified guidelinesUse equipment involved in fumigation management services, including electronic devices for recording and reporting dataPosition Details: This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following cities and surrounding areas: Pearland, TX areaMinimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalentDue to the nature and hours of work, must be 18 years of age or olderPosition requires a current and valid Driver's LicenseUnderstand labels and SDS forms for hazardous chemicalsTwo years of work or military experienceAbility to obtain required fumigation certifications and licenses pursuant to country or state/local lawsAnticipate 50% or more overnight travel for business during peak seasonPosition requires the ability to work overnight shifts as neededWillingness to be on-call during off work hours and weekends as necessaryAbility to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writingPosition requires understanding and interpreting English labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicalsPosition requires state fumigation certificate/license pursuant to country or state /local laws or ability to obtain onePosition requires the ability to obtain a TWIC card to access secure facilitiesPosition requires the ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat endorsementEcolab conducts a background check on all candidates who receive a job offerDue to federal contract requirements, this Specialty Pest Services position requires a drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offerImmigration sponsorship not available for this rolePhysical Demands: Position requires wearing and using a respirator or Self-Contained Breathing ApparatusPosition requires lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to 70 pounds chest highPosition requires working in a variety of conditions which may include confined spaces, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing and hot conditions, extreme heights of up to 150 feet, and use of ladders, scissor lifts, or arial boom liftsEssential duties of the position include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, climbing, using hands and fingers, balancing, walking, standing, sitting, pulling, talking and hearing.Preferred Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with reading product labels, computing and mixing accurate concentrations of chemicals, following all label requirementsAbility to use all equipment involved in fumigation management services, including electronic devices for recording and reporting dataComputer Skills: database software (including industry-specific software), company network-based and "cloud"-based applications, smart phones, Microsoft Office, and other electronic devices used to access information and enter dataAnnual or Hourly Compensation RangeThe pay range for this position is $36,700-$55,100.
