Job Purpose Developing and executing product and business strategy in a rapidly changing technological and social landscape requires a highly capable, knowledgeable, and engaged team. American Honda’s Sustainability & Business Development (SBD) business unit (BU) is tasked with navigating the business and technology application path for Honda's future renewable energy, resource circulation, and innovative business initiative products, services, and businesses. Our focus is to establish an ecosystem of hardware, software, and renewable energy that achieves these goals by focusing on real-world user experiences. By providing solutions that are intuitive, generate value in terms of time and cost savings, and enrich lives, we aim to deepen our relationships with each customer. The team will focus on building and sustaining Honda's core brand values and enhancing brand image and competitiveness by innovating, incubating, developing, and operating new businesses, features, products, and services, with responsibility for their profitability, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction in North America. Achieving this vision requires effective business management, financial accountability, and compliance across all business lines. The associate is responsible for in-market energy products and services, ensuring program success through customer satisfaction, financial performance, quality operations, and contractual compliance. They will execute tasks, report on operational and product aspects, and coordinate with various internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain in-market Energy Products and Services, defining and launching operational processes. On-board new products, sunset obsolete ones, and manage contracts with vendors. Ensure programs meet customer needs, provide regular reports, analyze market data, and identify trends. Lead market action initiatives, coordinate communication, and ensure success. Create and manage operational procedures, measure effectiveness, and propose improvements. Coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers to resolve issues, ensuring legal, regulatory, and budget compliance. Act as the voice of the customer, leading change management projects. Ensure financial success of assigned programs, working with finance to meet goals. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills BA/BS in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in customer technology and solutions, energy disciplines or EV charging preferred. Strong research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Program and project management experience. Ability to think strategically and innovatively. Knowledge of Honda product lines is a plus. Working Conditions 40% desk work, 35% meetings, 25% preparation and reporting. 40% remote, 60% office, with 5% travel.
