Brand Field Specialist
REMOTE POSITION - MUST RESIDE IN MICHIGAN
This role focuses on representing our brands through in-store sales efforts, consumer education, and community event execution to increase brand awareness, drive dispensary traffic, and boost sales. It requires extensive travel, relationship-building with retail partners, social media engagement, and coordination of promotional and sampling initiatives across the Michigan market. Please note this role has an hourly base pay PLUS monthly incentive / bonuses; see below for more information.
Brand Representation, Sales, & Event Execution
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of BellRock Brands products, retail locations, loyalty programs, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to effectively represent the brand in consumer interactions and drive sales.
- Consistently embody the BellRock Brands at retail locations to increase sales.
- Strategically plan, organize, and execute various consumer-facing marketing events, including vendor days, product showcases, promotions, and community engagement initiatives, with a focus on driving traffic and conversions.
- Ensure seamless event execution, including securing locations/event, coordinating logistics, following approved budget, and setting up booths and displays to optimize consumer interaction and sales opportunities.
- Actively promote BellRock Brands products and services at events, engaging with customers to generate leads, encourage consumers to purchse, and drive dispensary visits.
- Serve as a passionate advocate for BellRocks mission, values, and commitment to the communities we serve while reinforcing sales initiatives.
- Actively engage with consumers and community members at diverse events, with a focus on increasing brand awareness and sales, including:
- Cannabis Events Represent BellRock Brands at dispensary events, festivals, and markets, educating consumers, showcasing products, and building brand loyalty while driving purchases and dispensary foot traffic.
- Community Engagements Participate in local events such as fundraisers, networking mixers, and community fairs, strengthening relationships, increasing brand presence, and identifying sales opportunities.
Relationship Building
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, local influencers, and community leaders.
- Regularly visit dispensary locations to ensure BellRock Brands events drive traffic and contribute to increased sales.
- Collaborate with dispensary managers and staff to optimize event selections, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Account Maintenance
- Survey stores for inventory management, POS, training, promotional and new product placement opportunities.
- Ensure merchandising and brand placement to company standards.
Consumer Engagement
- Educate consumers on Bellrock Brands products, commitment to science, and quality.
- Scheduling and conduct Vendor Days at dispensaries based on BellRock Brands needs.
- Gather consumer feedback to provide valuable insights that enhance marketing strategies.
Product Training
- Scheduling and conducting budtender trainings based on BellRock Brands needs.
- Working with Marketing and Sales teams to refine education programs and continue to educate dispensaries, budtenders, and consumers through various channels.
Reporting
- Track and report event performance, loyalty program sign-ups, and overall consumer engagement.
- Provide detailed insights on market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging opportunities to enhance BellRock Brands marketing strategies.
- Utilize our CRM for account check-ins, promotions, vendor day schedules, etc.
Sampling Programs
- Execute compliant product sampling initiatives at approved locations while adhering to state and local regulations.
- Distribute promotional materials and product samples to consumers, offering firsthand experience with BellRock Brands products.
- Track sampling program effectiveness, reporting consumer responses and potential sales impact.
Social Media Activation
- Promote BellRock Brands products and events on social media, sharing engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
- Engage with followers online, encouraging participation in events, product trials, and community conversations using branded hashtags.
- Work with the marketing team to align social media efforts with larger brand campaigns, maximizing impact and reach.
Other
- Overall market information to understand trends, new products and sales strategies.
- Drive profitable sales, brand growth and loyalty for several business areas.
- Develop and execute brand management plans.
- Identify brand-building areas to include increased product/brand placements (monthly goal assigned monthly/quarterly).
- $1,500/month incentive earnings potential, with IRS mileage reimbursements.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in field marketing, brand ambassadorship, or CBN/CBD
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences and drive sales through consumer engagement
- Experience in event planning, grassroots brand promotion, and community outreach
- Highly motivated, independent, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Passion for community involvement and a solid understanding of cannabis regulations
- Proficiency in social media marketing and digital engagement
- Flexibility to travel within the state of Michigan; valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and event equipment.
- Up to 80% travel within designated market required.
