Responsibilities: Oversee and manage excess casualty claims and litigation across the U.S., involving Starr insureds. Responsibilities include coverage analysis, liability assessment, damages investigation, and reserve evaluation. Attend virtual and in-person mediations and settlement conferences to negotiate settlements; attend trials as needed. Collaborate with profit center leaders, underwriters, actuaries, and reinsurers on claims trends and developments.
