Full time Day Shift 40 hours
Work hours are 11am - 7:30pm

Qualified PCTs, take your career to the next level with Johns Hopkins Medicine . We are looking PCTs with In Patient / Hospital experience to work at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Minimal requirements include;

  • Highschool diploma
  • A Maryland CNA License
  • at least 1 year of hospital-based experience in the last 2 years
  • proficient in phlebotomy, starting IVs, EKG
  • additional terms and conditions apply. External applicants only, current JHM and Intrastaff employees excluded from this bonus.
The Johns Hopkins Hospitals Zayed 5 Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Prep/PACU) is a 24-bed unit that provides services to patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, cardiac ablations, cardioversions, PPM/AICD placements, lead extractions/revisions, and peripheral vascular interventions. Primary surgical services include: cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients
Patient Care Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Patient Care Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
  • One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum $17.37/hour - Maximum $ 26.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
