Job Summary: Supplies raw material and a variety of routine support for the operation of injection molding machines. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None. D
uties/Responsibilities: Picks orders from inventory. Unloads, moves, and stores materials. Utilize manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training). Stores and stacks materials according to company standards. Identifies and verifies parts. Reports inventory shortages and recommending new orders. Removes damaged materials from stock. Cleans, checks, and sets up material dryers, feeders, and/or loaders as required. Moves finished goods to specified staging area as required. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical mindset, reasoning abilities and problem-solving skills. Good training and leadership skills; team oriented. Highly motivated. Experience operating riding forklifts. Completion of "Fundamentals of Injection Molding" Paulson Training. Completion of “Plastic Drying Technology” Paulson Training. Ability to work overtime as required. Computer experience with Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions. Ability to work overtime as required. Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Prior forklift experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand entire shift (8+ hrs.). Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Requires manual dexterity. Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment. Frequently moves from waist level to floor level.
