Warehouse Worker Job Description Location: Jersey City, NJ
Overview: We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our supply chain operations by ensuring that products are handled, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently. Prepare and package outgoing orders for shipment to ensure they meet delivery timelines. Maintain accurate inventory records and track all part movements within the warehouse. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies as needed. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly. Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are adhered to while working in the warehouse.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders. Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing. Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor throughout the shift.
