Job Summary Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, SEC disclosures, and AP operations. Reporting to the Director, Accounting, the role involves managing accounting processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance. Candidates should have strong public and private accounting backgrounds, US GAAP knowledge, and experience with system implementation and process improvement.
Responsibilities
Oversee and review monthly journal entries and reconciliations, focusing on prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and other key components.
Manage and streamline the month-end close process, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Review SEC disclosure schedules for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data collection and analysis.
Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures.
Lead projects on automation, system enhancements, and process optimization.
Mentor and guide accounting staff.
Ensure financial reporting accuracy and support strategic company goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related; CPA required, MBA preferred.
10+ years relevant experience, including public accounting.
Strong US GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
Experience with SEC reporting is a plus.
Experience in high-growth tech or manufacturing environments is a plus.
Proven ability to manage month-end closing and reconciliations.
Proficiency in Excel; SAP or similar ERP experience valued.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Leadership in projects and cross-functional work.
Salary Range $127,000 - $160,000, plus benefits, bonuses, and equity options.
