The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and Head of Private Equity, working collaboratively with colleagues in ZAAM, other Zurich business units, and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Lead or co-lead deal origination, research, and analysis of direct co-investment, secondary GP-led, or continuation vehicle opportunities. Leverage personal and professional networks for diligence and referencing; develop relationships with intermediaries, portfolio companies, managers, and other LPs. Support legal negotiations and influence positive outcomes. Prepare and present comprehensive memoranda for investment committees and stakeholders. Monitor portfolio activities, leveraging technology and tools for data gathering. Represent Zurich in Limited Partner Advisory Committees. Research & Market Intelligence:
Identify potential investment areas using a thesis-driven approach. Synthesize PE data and trends to inform strategy. Build proprietary PE data to enhance underwriting and monitoring. Use technology solutions, including AI tools, to elevate market intelligence. Cross-Departmental & Leadership:
Share knowledge and expertise to elevate colleagues. Lead or support cross-departmental projects and initiatives. Represent ZAAM PE in meetings with senior management and external parties. Qualifications:
Basic: Bachelors degree and 5+ years in investments or related area. 3+ years in institutional asset management, investment accounting, financial planning, insurance, or actuarial fields. Preferred: Ambition for continuous improvement. Bachelors in finance or accounting; Masters or MBA preferred. Progress toward CFA designation. Experience in asset management, insurance, financial analysis, or consulting in related fields. Compensation ranges from $162,500 to $266,250 with a 20% incentive bonus.
