- Schedule: - Monday - Friday, 8a - 4:30p - Call: Weeknight 4:30p - 8a and weekend call Friday 4:30p - Sunday 8a (7-day rotations)
- Call Type: Beeper
- EMR: Epic Clinical Details
- Volume: 5 - 10 patients per shift
- Department Beds: 30
- Admissions: 1 - 3 during call
- Phone Consults: 2 per night on average
- Support Staff: 7 RNs, 1 MA, 2 PA/NPs, 5 office staff
- Inpatient rounding required while on call
- Hospitalists admit overnight (except for new oncology diagnoses) Requirements
- MO license or IMLC
- Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certified
- Bone marrow biopsy experience required
- Clean history Skills Needed
- Pediatric hematology and oncology care
