We’re seeking a self‐motivated, hard‐working mechanic with a minimum of 3-years of hands‐on experience in an automotive repair shop. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles while maintaining excellent workmanship and high productivity.

Responsibilities:

n
• Inspect and test vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and other system malfunctions.
n
• Perform routine maintenance.
n
• Diagnose complex issues using diagnostic scanners; repair or replace faulty components. like engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, exhaust, electrical and HVAC systems.
n
• Create accurate written repair recommendations.
n
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized shop space, including preventive maintenance of tools and equipment.
n
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair approaches through reading and training.
n

Qualifications & Skills:

n
• Proven experience working in a mechanic shop, with solid track record of reliability and productivity.
n
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
n
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical tolerance (lifting 40 lbs or more, standing for extended periods).
n
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic scanners/software.
n
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
n
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, especially in explaining repair needs to customers and colleagues.
n
• High school diploma or GED required; completion of vocational training or apprenticeship . ASE certification is a strong plus.
n
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, is a must.
n

Experience & Work Ethic:

• Must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership.
n
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and willingness to tackle busy workloads.
n
• Motivated to learn continuously, adapt to evolving technologies, and improve efficiency.
n

Working Conditions & Schedule:

n
• Full-time position with potential for overtime.  
n
• Physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting, interaction with fluids and chemicals); strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE guidelines is required.
n
• Team environment, collaborating closely with other mechanics, service advisors, and shop manager.
n

Compensation:

• Hourly pay will be based on experience
