The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems to assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the production site. The role aims to achieve profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.

Responsibilities

    n
  • n

    Serve as a project team member implementing initiatives that eliminate waste through standard Industrial Engineering processes.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Handle tasks such as Capital Equipment Requests, Capabilities Studies, Plant Layouts, Tool Design, and Standard Work.

  • n

    Develop time standards for process steps to be used in the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB).

    n
  • n
  • n

    Gather and analyze Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customers or areas.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Coordinate layout and facility moves for assigned customers or areas.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Collect, analyze, and review IEDB data to ensure accuracy and compliance with standard processes.

  • n
  • n

    Monitor SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations to ensure compliance with standardized system configurations.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Gather and/or develop data for quotes.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Support and/or maintain all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities.

  • n

    Ensure the standardization of processes throughout the site in accordance with global, regional, and site directions.

  • n

    Support the Lean organization by establishing a solid process foundation and data integrity to facilitate process improvement throughout the organization.

  • n

    Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

  • n

    Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

    Proficiency in industrial engineering and process improvement.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience conducting time studies and working with the Product Process Time Database.

  • n

    Expertise in layouts and design.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Data-focused approach with strong analytical abilities.

  • n
  • n

    Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools, including work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design.

    Proven success in change management, continuous improvements, and cost reduction programs.

  • n

    Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

    n
  • n

    Experience with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD is required.

  • n

    Skills in mechanical assembly, kitting, and kanban.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
