We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead intricate mechanical construction initiatives. This is a pivotal leadership role that encompasses client engagement, project oversight, and team development across substantial commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple large-scale commercial mechanical projects (HVAC & plumbing), typically ranging from $10M to $50M+.
  • Act as the primary liaison to clients, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Drive project strategies, profitability, and risk management from preconstruction through project completion.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to enhance project delivery.
  • Support regional business development and foster client retention through trust, execution, and positive results.
  • Represent the company in essential contract negotiations and discussions at the executive level.

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years of mechanical construction experience with a successful history of managing large commercial projects.
  • Proven leadership in directing project teams for HVAC and plumbing scopes on complex builds (e.g., healthcare, mission-critical facilities, life sciences, high-rise buildings).
  • Strong financial management skills with the ability to oversee budgets, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
