Department: YVMC Neurology Clinic

FTE: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.54 - $33.81 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I)
  • A candidate may be hired without certification if they have either 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or are a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • BLS certification must be through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and must be valid at least sixty days after hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather vital signs, perform specimen collection, and communicate changes in patient conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized care area.
  • Keep medical supplies and equipment in order.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
