Our client, a leading specialty industrial manufacturer, is seeking a Welding Engineer to employ their extensive knowledge of engineering, metallurgy, materials, welding, and standards to design, examine, and evaluate welds. The Welding Engineer should possess a deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and the use of related machinery and tools.
nEssential Duties:

- Develop company Standards for materials, weld-joint designs, and welding processes n
- Design welded parts, assemblies, and structures n
- Determine welding processes such as material/procedure/supplier qualifications and product testing n
- Establish on-going training on welding methods, procedures, processes, welding symbols, design document reading n
- Review and recommend welding equipment to maintain currency and proficiency in technical improvements associated with best-practice welding processes. n
- Direct involvement in troubleshooting welding issues and provide corrective and preventive actions n
Education & Training:
n- n
- Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, or Metallurgy n
- Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) n
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment n
