Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care (CNA - LTC) to support residents in a long-term care facility. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe and clean environment, and promote dignity and quality of life for all residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
  • Ensure resident safety by following proper protocols, including fall prevention and infection control.
  • Help residents maintain independence while supporting their comfort and well-being.
  • Document care provided and complete required forms or charts accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in shift change reports and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and supportive care environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active CNA certification in good standing with the state registry.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Current BLS or CPR certification required.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow care plans.
