SHINE Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer to support compliance to ISO 9001:2015 for our SHINE Systems and Manufacturing division and AS9001-D for our Phoenix Neutron Imaging by developing, maintaining, and continuously improving processes, procedures, and work instructions that result in products and services which meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
nnThe base salary range for this position is $69,000/year-$98,000/year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
nnDuties and Responsibilities:
nSpecific duties and responsibilities of the Quality Engineer include, but are not limited to:

- Plan and carry out internal process audits, assessing non-conformances and completing audit reports. n
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). n
- Facilitate the definition, documentation, and revision of procedures and work instruction related to all company functions. n
- Compile and analyze process performance metrics and provide management with suggestions for improvement. n
- Represent Systems and Manufacturing Division and Phoenix LLC as the point of contact for supplier and customer quality communications, including audits. n
- Responsible for maintenance of calibrated equipment program. n
- Support supplier quality activities, including evaluation and performance monitoring. n
- Manage non-conforming product program. n
- Facilitate supplier approval process. n
- Other Quality Related duties as assigned. n
Requirements:n
- n
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field or associate’s degree with equivalent job experience. n
- At least 5 years’ experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing environment . n
- Proficiency with ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100-D requirements . n
- training as internal auditor or ability to complete internal auditor training. n
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, bills of materials and use measurement equipment. n
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. n
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required, with technical writing and editing experience . n
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with a strong attention to detail and organization. n
- Familiarity with root-cause analysis, statistical analysis, acceptance criteria, and internal audits. n
- Familiarity with using an ERP/inventory management system. n
Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls. Additionally, applicant’s eligibility may be conditioned based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
