Release Manager / Copado Specialist Location:- Seattle, WA(5 days Onsite) Duration: 6+ Months
Role and Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of Salesforce DevOps and release activities across development, QA, UAT, and production environments. Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Copado, integrated with version control (Git), automated testing, and code quality tools. Establish and enforce deployment governance, change control processes, and risk mitigation strategies. Manage environment strategies including sandbox refreshes, metadata sync, and data seeding to support various release cycles. Collaborate with developers, admins, QA, product managers, and architects to plan and execute releases in alignment with sprint goals. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. Drive adoption of source-driven development using Salesforce DX, Git branching strategies, and metadata management best practices. Administer and optimize Copado configurations, pipelines, and user roles to maximize efficiency and security. Maintain audit trails, documentation, and reporting to meet compliance and regulatory standards. Total of 10+ Years of experience with 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, Release Management, or Platform Engineering roles. Proven hands-on experience with Copado, including pipeline configuration, user roles, deployment strategies, and environment management. Strong expertise with Git, version control workflows, and DevOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps). Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata, environments, deployment artifacts, and change sets. Experience with Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and automated deployment strategies. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional team settings. Copado Certification (e.g., Copado Fundamentals, Advanced DevOps, Consultant). Salesforce Administrator and/or Platform Developer I Certification. Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce orgs with multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ).
