Position Summary: The Division 8 Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of door, frame, and hardware packages for commercial construction projects. This role ensures that all deliverables meet contract specifications, schedules, and profitability goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at building relationships with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Manage Division 8 projects from contract award through closeout, including submittals, procurement, scheduling, and delivery coordination. Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate takeoffs, scope alignment, and product compliance. Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation. Coordinate with estimators, purchasing, warehouse, and field teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, architects, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor budgets, track costs, and maintain profitability targets. Resolve product, scheduling, and logistical issues quickly to minimize project impacts. Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards, and safety requirements. Qualifications:
3+ years of project management experience in Division 8, construction supply, or related field (commercial doors, frames, hardware). Strong knowledge of construction documents, hardware schedules, and industry standards. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Preferred:
AHC, CDC, or other relevant industry certifications. Experience with hollow metal and wood door manufacturing processes. Why Join Us:
