Senior Structural Bridge Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural / Bridge Design Engineer to be part of AECOM's growing Colorado and U.S. West regional bridge design project work based in the Denver, CO office. This position will involve performing building structure design analysis, including plan preparation of various and diverse bridge structures, BIM tool usage as well as exposure to and contributing to project work throughout the Western U.S. This important role offers participation in a variety of challenging projects such as the Portage Bay Bridge and a dynamic work environment due to the number, type and size of structures that make up the vast portfolio of the experienced structure group this engineer will be joining. Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. 10+ years' experience in structural design. Master's degree in structural engineering. Project management skills. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing. Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools and software). Knowledgeable of other standard engineering practices, techniques, and applicable Codes, such as AREMA, AASHTO, etc. Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools. A current PE license in the State of CO. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Offered rate of compensation for Denver, CO (and greater Colorado) will be based on the individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $185,000.00.
