City/State: Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift: Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Hospital Support Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to work for the Regional Resource Pool. Northern VA/ Blue Ridge Schedule Control & Premium Pay Develop stronger, diverse clinical skills This position is Flexi-pool / Swing Shifts This is a great opportunity for experienced RNs that are looking for flexible self-scheduling and PREMIUM PAY! Requires a minimum of 48 scheduled hours per month, Night Shift At least 1 -12 hour weekend shift per month. Requires availability to work 2 or the 3 hospitals listed below: Northern VA / Blue Ridge Pool Hospitals: Woodbridge, Martha Jefferson (Charlottesville), Rockingham Memorial (Harrisonburg) Must reside within 75 miles of two of the three hospitals: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, or Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. Benefits: None for Flexi Pool Education: Registered Nurse Diploma (Required) Certification/Licensure: Active Registered Nurse License (Required) Experience: Requires minimum 18 months RECENT bedside experience in the units you will be assigned to Requires nurses to work in all units for which they are qualified (ie: Med/Surg, ICU, IMCU, ED etc) and a minimum of two different units. Sentara Hospital Support Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in our Resource Pool covering three hospitals: Blue Ridge region: Rockingham Memorial in Harrisonburg and Martha Jefferson in Charlottesville; Sentara Northern Virginia in Woodbridge. Offers Premium Differential Pay, Flexible Self Scheduling: (work up to Full-time hours if desired). Only required to provide the availability to work no more than two weeks in advance. Requires a minimum of 48 scheduled hours per pay month
Requires 1, 12-hour off-shift and 1, 12-hour weekend shift per month.
Requires minimum RN experience of 18 months. Requires nurses to work in all units for which they are qualified and a minimum of two different units.
