Job Description Job Title: Radiology Medical Imaging Technologist I Profession: Technologist Specialty: Multi-Modality Radiology Duration: Full-Time Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Three years of previous experience in a hospital setting preferred. Willing to consider new graduates or those with less experience. License: Current state license or recent graduate of an approved program with a valid temporary permit. Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in relevant modality. Must-Have: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Image Wisely and Image Gently pledge certificates or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter. - Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program. - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Description: Performs a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages. Applies principles, theories, and techniques of pertinent modality to provide reliable test results. Provides daily leadership of patient and department workflow. Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position. Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally with the public. Maintains confidentiality, thinks and acts independently with minimal supervision. Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
