Principal Business Process Consultant
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Principal Business Process Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions. Map business processes to solution requirements. Champion and lead disruptive business innovation. Provide thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Plan transitions of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LOBS. Support pre-sales activities. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support in escalated projects. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience. Drive the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or initiates updates to the portfolio. Drive the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes. Mentor business process consultants. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must involve five (5) years in the following: Implementing SAP technology; Integration & Project Management of SAP Information Technology and Business transformation programs and projects; SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana, ServiceNow ITSM, SAP FIORI, and HP Application Lifecycle Management; Identifying and Implementing SAP Oil & Gas Industry solutions for Commodity Trading and Risk management (CTRM), Commodity Pricing Engine and Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench (TSW); and Business Process Management and Enterprise Architecture in Oil & Gas Industry Domain. Position requires up to 80% domestic and/or international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites for SAP solution consulting, implementation and business transformation services.
