Law Enforcement Instructor

Full/Part-Time: Full time Job Type: Regular Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications FLSA Status: Non-exempt Location of Work: Oklahoma City, OK or Tulsa, OK Schedule: Full-time Position Summary: This position's role is to provide the best human trafficking-related training to law enforcement personnel throughout the State of Oklahoma. The primary duty of the Instructor is to coordinate, plan, facilitate, provide, and administratively document all training provided to law enforcement personnel across the state. This is a civilian position, not an Office of the Attorney General law enforcement position. Essential Functions: Coordinating, planning, facilitating, providing, instructing, and administratively documenting human trafficking-related training provided to law enforcement Liaison with individuals from the public and private sector in training opportunities and venue acquisition Collaborating with representatives of other federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, as well as CLEET, for training opportunities and venue acquisition Identifying instructional needs and developing customized training to meet those identified needs Providing accurate budgeting for training needs Staying informed about emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in human trafficking training and incorporating relevant updates into training programs Maintaining the integrity of the Attorney General's Office as well as the confidentiality of information as required by the Attorney General Ability to provide sound judgment, as well as exhibit excellent report writing skills Regular in-state travel is required Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: CLEET Certified Law Enforcement Instructor, or the ability to obtain a CLEET Law Enforcement Instructor certification A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related experience Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license Preference will be given to individuals with a human trafficking training background All applicants must agree in writing to complete, and satisfactorily pass, a background investigation The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is an equal employment employer and does not make hiring decisions on the basis of race, sex/gender, color, age, national origin, genetic information, religion, or disability, so long as the disability does not render the person unable to perform the essential functions of the position for which employed with a reasonable accommodation.
