Electrical Engineer
Product Development
Work independently to design hardware and perform circuit design for new product development projects. Test designs for EMC and conduct root cause analysis. Collaborate with suppliers who provide microcontrollers. This position involves 85% hardware design for new products, 5% modifying C code, and 10% doing PCB design and layout in Altium. This is a long-term position requiring onsite work 3-4 days per week in downtown Milwaukee, with some work involving designs for 120-230 volts. What You'll Do:
Design and develop analog and digital circuits for embedded systems and power electronics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production. Create schematics, select components, and support PCB layout and testing. Participate in product validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. Support compliance testing and documentation for regulatory approvals. The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
