Eurofins Environment Testing operates out of more than 50 laboratories and over 40 service centers across the US. The network can provide full-service Environment Testing capabilities in all US states, either via direct local laboratory participation, or via the extensive logistics network. Job Description
The Project Management Assistant supports the Project Management staff in servicing clients to meet the laboratory mission. Position is Full time, M-F 1:00pm-9:00pm with overtime as needed. Must live a commutable distance to Cranston, RI AND have a background in Environment. Compensation is $19-21/hour (DOE) plus full benefits. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in Project Management and grow with the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creates bottle orders Schedules courier or Service Center pick ups or drop offs as needed Creates and issues final report by client due date Issues final data package Completes state reporting forms and submissions Completes data uploads Compiles case narrative Invoicing and payment processing Reviews final invoice before issuing to client Generates credit/debit memos as needed and submits for approvals Answers phone and redirects calls to Project Managers Assists with sample receiving as follows: Reviews log-in Assists with unpacking coolers during high receipt periods Uploads sample receipt paperwork to LIMS and files hard-copies Assists with sample control when client requests changes to jobs such as relocating or relabeling samples Confirms that any client needed information (purchase order, project number, etc.) is recorded in LIMS for invoicing Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree (four years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for degree) High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience Environmental laboratory experience 1-3 years business experience required Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship Ideal Candidates will have: Customer service/client relations experience preferred Bench chemist experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills Effective problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Computer skills, using routine software applications, such as Outlook, Office, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint Additional Information
