What You'll Do Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client Provide patient education in individual and group settings What We're Looking For Minimum one year diploma program post - high school Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges Strong oral and written communication skills Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles Where You'll Work Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 40 - bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Nestled on 5.19 acres of the beautiful Poconos mountains, this homey yet modern establishment provides the ideal setting for clients to cleanse themselves of all harmful substances and embark on their journey to sustained recovery. With round-the-clock supervision and care, our clients' every need is met with dignity and compassion before it arises. Our dedicated staff include skilled primary therapists and clinicians, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors and behavioral health technicians - all of whom help to create a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere which fosters openness and healing.
