Internal Communications Specialist
The Internal Communications Specialist will forecast, develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that support all Engagement initiatives. What You Will Be Doing
Using the events calendar to forecast upcoming marketing needs
Scheduling meetings with Events/Uzone and Community to discuss upcoming Marketing requests
Creating Marketing assets for events, vendors, designing website pages and creating digital flyers.
Creating content docs based on teams marketing needs and requests
Creating tasks to start the Marketing process
Reviewing marketing assets o Ensuring all proper assets have been requested and designed accordingly o Ensuring that all content aligns with overall communication strategy
Noting necessary edits and working with the team to update any changes
Continuously updating Marketing content documents to reflect final needs/asks
Downloading final assets into designated folders.
Working closely with Engagement Content Specialist to schedule out UZone news postings
Saving Marketing templates and making additional edits and updates to assets if needed using Adobe suite
Creating layouts/ maps to scale for Engagement initiatives using Adobe Suite COMMUNICATION:
Forecasting communication needs for upcoming events, initiatives, and launches
Scheduling meetings with Events/Uzone and Community teams to create and review outgoing communication
Creating communication plans for major events and initiatives QUALTRICS:
Updating all active contact list in Qualtrics (weekly)
Creating registration surveys and dashboards for upcoming events
Monitoring Qualtrics surveys and communicating registration progress with the appropriate teams PRINTING:
Printing new name plates for team members based on requests
Managing plotter paper and ink inventory to re-order as needed
Printing A-frames and plotter signage for upcoming events/ initiatives
Preparing and organizing CSV files for data merge name tags
Communicating production timelines and printing costs with vendors MISCELLANEOUS:
Organizing reports for major event fulfillment and distribution needs
Communicating needs with fulfillment company based on event type
Coordinating distribution and fulfillment plans for major events (HP, fair, kids day, campe, etc.)
Executing event distribution and fulfillment What We Need From You
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 2+ years in a Marketing or as a Junior Designer. 2+years' experience in Adobe Illustrator Advanced Excel experience and ability to merge and pivot data Experience Qualtrics with data and dashboards Excellent writing and communication skills Events or Event Management experience Ability to multi-task Work well under tight deadlines Adaptable to change and quick turnaround times.
