Litigation Paralegal Location: Rosemont, IL Industry: Legal / Corporate Pay: $30 - $38 / Hour (based on experience) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). About Our Client: Addison Group is working with our client, a growing and fast-paced organization, to find a Litigation Paralegal who can thrive in a role that blends legal, HR, and operational responsibilities. This position offers a unique mix of casework, employee relations, contract review, and member relations support. Job Description: This role supports multiple departments, handling legal documentation, compliance, and communications. You'll partner with attorneys, HR, operations, and outside counsel to manage projects, resolve issues, and ensure all records and processes meet legal and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations Help resolve workplace issues by assisting with investigations and disciplinary processes. Draft and review reports, complaint responses, and related documentation. Research labor laws and provide guidance to ensure compliance. Assist with updates to employee handbooks, policies, and procedures. Support HR leaders with other employee-related projects as needed. Litigation Support Organize and maintain case files, including discovery materials, pleadings, and statements. Coordinate with outside counsel to ensure timely and accurate communication. Member Relations Work with HR and operations teams to address member concerns, incidents, and contractual obligations. Collaborate with corporate partners on member agreements, compliance questions, and franchise guidelines. Help resolve member disputes while ensuring alignment with company policies. Business Contracts Draft, review, and revise vendor, service, and partnership agreements. Collaborate with real estate teams on landlord correspondence and requirements. Maintain a centralized database of contracts, key deadlines, and compliance requirements. Assist in negotiations with external parties to secure favorable terms. Qualifications: 3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, ideally with litigation exposure. Knowledge of employment law, legal processes, and contract management. Experience working with the Department of Human Rights and unemployment law Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with legal documentation systems. Excellent communication skills and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
