What You'll Do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern

UI/UX Designer Location: flexible, US Expected start date: September / October 2025 Expected hours per week: 40 In this role, you'll collaborate closely across the architecture and delivery lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience that spans multiple disciplines. This internship is designed to help you grow, refine your UI/UX skills, and ensure your contributions align with Digital Launchpad's strategic objectives. With this internship you will get to, but are not limited to: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business analysts, to gather and analyze user requirements and objectives. Design and prototype user interface components for AI-driven applications and platforms using web design principles and SAP Fiori guidelines. Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and validate user experiences. Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and design specifications for new features and enhancements. Ensure designs are consistent with SAP Design System. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into our design processes. Identify opportunities for improvement within existing Ariba user interfaces and workflows. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to align on user needs and expectations with other UX Design teams, PM and Dev. What You Bring:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. You also bring: Pursuing a BS/MS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology, or related field Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's, or JD/PhD program Strong research, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal) Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably working with AI or enterprise-facing products. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction. Solid understanding of SAP Fiori Design System. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
