As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will be part of the team at Capital District Veterinary Referral Hospital, where we are transforming veterinary care. Financial support and onsite mentorship for those pursuing VTS certification About the Role: Expertly triaging incoming patients and providing top-notch client support throughout their visit. Collaborating closely with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatment procedures. Proficiently handling laboratory samples and utilizing advanced imaging modalities for patient evaluation. Safely executing, monitoring, and overseeing anesthetic events to ensure optimal patient care. About You: State of New York Licensed Veterinary Technician (seasoned pro or recent graduate) dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. Strong experience with in-patient care, in-house laboratory operation, venipuncture, and radiology. You understand that clear, effective communication among clients and team members is a priority and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value. You're not afraid to jump in and get your feet wet! A diligent worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, you will help get all the day's duties done! Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role.
