Director, Membership

The Director of Membership is responsible for creating and implementing the club's membership promotions and sales plans. Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for strategic marketing planning and execution, membership sales, and membership retention. As Membership & Marketing Sales Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager. Major Responsibilities: Responsible for full-cycle Membership prospect activities, including Club tours, processing Membership applications, and follow-up to Membership inquiries Research member and prospective member demographics and prepare reports as directed Engages in outbound sales efforts through networking, attending business association functions, referrals from existing business clients, and lead generation. Provides guest tours in efforts to sell the merits of the Club's facilities to membership and outing prospects Works with Saddlebrook Managing Director and Director of Sales & Marketing to create membership program materials/collateral Works with Troon regional team to develop an annual Sales and Marketing plan Oversees the preparation of contracts for all golf outings Works with the Director of Catering to generate BEO's for all events Maintains active and regularly updated membership prospect files using a CRM Participates in promotional/outside activities that are judged appropriate by the Managing Director to enhance the presence of the property in the local community Responsible, with support from the Club's Managing Director and Troon marketing team, for resident and member communications, to includes social media posts, email blasts, posting collateral materials, and updating the website Works with Troon team to develop an operating budget and ensure approval by the Managing Director Qualifications

Must have 1-3 years related experience (golf, hotel, etc.) with a proven track record of success

Must have solid promotional & sales skills

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented

Must have excellent interpersonal/relationship-building skills

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Compensation

Compensation for the position will be a combination of base salary and an incentive plan based on sales. The compensation package also includes health, dental, and vision insurances (premium co-share), STD insurance, 401(k) plan, FSA, meals, vacation, sick days, and a cell phone allowance. About Troon
