The Polaris D&IT Predictive Data Science Internship is a tailored 12-week paid summer internship designed for emerging juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in a leading global powersports industry. As a D&IT Predictive Data Science Intern, you will create recommendations for complex business decisions using a wide variety of data science techniquesfrom exploratory data analysis to predictive analytics. In this track, you will develop advanced end-to-end analytics and technology solutions that drive value for Polaris and its customers. You may interact with:
Analytics
You will work with Data Analysts and Modern Workplace teams to explore and interpret data, uncover insights, and support data-driven decision-making. This includes building dashboards, visualizations, and reports that communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Data Management
Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and Data Engineers to integrate, prepare, and manage large, varied datasets. You'll gain experience in data architecture, pipeline development, and the tools that support scalable data operations. Data Science
Work alongside Data Scientists to design, build, and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms. You'll contribute to production-ready solutions that enhance business performance and customer experience. Internship Locations Include: Many D&IT Interns are based out of our corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, but could also include Osceola, WI, Roseau, MN, Spirit Lake, IA, Huntsville, AL, Wyoming, MN, Battle Ground, WA, Wilmington, OH, & Vermillion, SD As a Polaris intern it is important that you embrace the adventure and remain open to any placement opportunity. By being adaptable, you will gain diverse experiences and develop a broader skill set, which are essential for your professional development and success within Polaris. Our internship program is crafted to build the foundational skills and experiences essential for your career success. Upon completing the internship, those who demonstrate exceptional performance and a strong passion for learning may be offered a returning internship or a position in our rotational leadership development program.
