Assistant Superintendent - Data Centers - NoVa
The Assistant Superintendent - Data Centers - NoVa will be responsible for: Support the Superintendent in day-to-day on-site project coordination, ensuring construction activities align with schedule, budget, and quality standards Monitor field operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards Coordinate and manage subcontractors and self-performed crews to ensure timely and efficient workflow Conduct daily site inspections, maintain a clean and organized jobsite, and proactively resolve any field issues or delays Assist with project scheduling and short-term lookahead plans; communicate progress and issues to Superintendent and Project Manager Manage and track material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment use to prevent downtime and maintain project momentum Document project activities through daily reports, field notes, photos, and logs; escalate key concerns when needed Participate in and lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and jobsite orientations to uphold a zero-incident safety culture Interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications to guide subcontractors and confirm field work accuracy Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, inspectors, and trade partners to ensure smooth project execution Support punch list and project close-out efforts, ensuring all final inspections, clean-up, and documentation are completed to standard The Assistant Superintendent - Data Centers - NoVa will have: Four-year degree in Construction Management or related field, or Construction Management Certificate from an accredited college program (high school diploma or trade school degrees will not be considered) 4+ years of on-site construction experience Strong understanding of construction safety, quality control, and project execution Ability to manage subcontractors, assist in scheduling, and track project progress Prior experience on data center or commercial projects preferred, but not required The Assistant Superintendent - Data Centers - NoVa will receive: Competitive base salary up to $90,000 annually For data center projects based in DC/MD, car allowance may be negotiable Join a rapidly growing company with ambitious growth targets and a clear career advancement path Work within a supportive leadership team focused on culture, mentorship, and retention Gain valuable experience managing multiple, complex data center projects across Northern Virginia and DC metro areas Enjoy opportunities for quick promotions as the company expands its project portfolio
