Weekly Travel Rate up to $1,820 - $2,977 Department: Associate Travel Program - Echo Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 36 hours per week Location: Local and national travel options are available depending on need. Hospital: Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals This position is a permanent, full time position made up of 13 week travel assignments - not a short term option or temporary contract. Rates may vary by location and specialty. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols, setting up and adjusting all imaging equipment and manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams, implementing safety standards and performing appropriate quality control procedures, performing routine and complex studies and assisting in a variety of imaging procedures, recognizing significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations, positioning patients and selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory agency standards, ensuring prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS, and assisting in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department. Requirements include licensure/certification/registration such as BLS Provider, Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, Cardiac Sonographer, or Medical Sonographer, and education such as High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience. Additional preferences include one year of recent experience as Echo Tech and local and national travel options are available depending on need.
