The Sales Training Program Manager will have a significant impact on the success of the Acute Care & Monitoring business by executing technical, sales, and clinical training focused on sales and clinical support for the Perioperative Portfolio (BIS, INVOS, McGRATH, and Argos Cardiac Output monitor). This position reports into the Sr. Manager of U.S. Sales Training. Offering an exceptional opportunity to build on clinical and sales experience and develop the skills for upward or lateral roles. The successful individual will deploy training programs for new and existing employees and support ACM business initiatives. They will partner with sales leaders, US, and Global Marketing, CRMS, Global Training counterparts, and other cross functional partners to ensure training needs are met and training content is relevant and current. The work location within the U.S. is flexible but candidates must be prepared to travel up to 25%. Significant time will be spent delivering hands-on training delivered at the Medtronic training center located in Lafayette, Colorado, or other designated location. Responsibilities include: Identify training needs: Drive the collaboration of the different regional stakeholders to identify skill or knowledge gaps based on roles and responsibilities. Training development: Partner with US and Global Marketing, CRMS and other functions to design and develop training courses that align with organizational goals and objectives. Training delivery: Deliver clinical and sales content effectively using digital resources and methods such as Blended, Synchronous and Asynchronous learning. Training evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of the training by measuring learning outcomes through evaluations, surveys, and feedback. Program management: Manage and update programs that support the sales team (Field Sales Training Program, Advanced Training Programs, Selling Skills, and other related programs). Program development: Spend time designing and updating training modules, incorporating new content that reflects the latest advancements in acute care technologies. Continuous learning: Incorporate and utilize technology to include Artificial Intelligence, and other platforms, that enhance sales training and build acumen and confidence. Team collaboration: Foster cross departmental training collaboration that promotes a culture of learning that enhances communication efficiency and continuous improvement. Travel required up to 25% of the time domestically. Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of combined experience in two or more of the following functions: medical device sales or marketing, training delivery, or other relevant areas, with a strong track record and demonstration of individual and team results. OR Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of combined experience in two or more of the following functions: medical device sales or marketing, training delivery, or other relevant areas, with a strong track record and demonstration of individual and team results. AND Must have at least 3 years of field sales experience. Nice to Have Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, a genuine enthusiasm for training and development with a commitment to teamwork. Clinical experience In-depth knowledge of successful field sales and support organization structure, processes, and culture. Excellent influencing, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities. Experience in multicultural organizations, particularly different learning and thinking styles. Proven track record of ability to navigate and collaborate within a global matrix organization. Proven track record of both individual and team achievement with a natural drive for results. Experience with project management/project leadership, excellent planning and organizational skills coupled with demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently. Excellent spoken and written skills. Acute Care hospital knowledge or experience. Advanced degree (MBA, MA Ed, MA, or PhD) Product launch experience. Understanding of instructional design and use of adult learning principles for training curricula development. Experience in strategy development or support. Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery. Experience in change management. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $110,400.00 - $165,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
