We're looking for an Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team of here at PEC (Pacific Energy Concepts), but, before we dive into the nitty-gritty, we'd love to tell you a bit about us.

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day procurement activities to support energy efficiency projects. This role ensures timely and accurate ordering of materials, price tracking, vendor coordination, and communication with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and personable, able to manage multiple product lines and collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to ensure smooth and efficient procurement operations.
This is an in-office position based full-time in our Downtown Vancouver office.
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 Job Duties Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase order logs, vendor quotes, subcontractor documentation, and compliance materials Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and collaborate with Accounting to support invoice reconciliation and audit accuracy Assist Accounting in preparation of Reseller's Certification required for vendor transactions when necessary Submit material purchase orders based on approved requests and monitor delivery status daily, resolving any delays or discrepancies with vendors Manage active purchase orders from submittal through fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and addressing shipment exceptions as needed Coordinate with vendors to confirm order status, expedite lead times, and handle routine order-related inquiries Suggest improvements to procurement workflows, documentation processes, and system integrations to enhance efficiency Respond to internal stakeholder inquiries and provide timely updates on lead times, availability, and shipment status Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and 1-5 years of relevant experience Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations, preferably in the construction or energy sectors Experience with procurement software and ERP systems preferred; familiarity with platforms such as NetSuite, Smartsheet, or Wrike is a plus Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strategic thinking and planning abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high volume data entry Excellent communication skills and vendor-facing professionalism Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Excel, procurement software, and CRMs (Wrike, Smartsheet, NetSuite, or similar a plus) Customer-service mindset with an internal stakeholder focus Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
A valid, insurable driver's license is required.
